An Alienware Alpha is an excellent entry into PC gaming. The Alpha may be obsolete in 5 years but you will still have games you can play on your new machine no matter what and they will always be there, a lot of people forget that.
After the Alpha is worthless I’m sure a person will have enough money to build there own PC and escape consoles forever. That’s why I think this is a better choice than a traditional console.
Get people to fill up a Steam library and they won’t want to abandon the games so they will end up going to a traditional PC and never buy a console again.
Honestly anything is better than the PS4/Xbone though, both charge for online and the PS4 charges to play older games. Both also have extremely limited libraries and outdated hardware as well yet people buy them up like idiots.
I used to be a console gamer back in the day but after switching to PC it will never happen again.

That does not represent a consistent FPS. That’s just the highs, the lower PFS is what would make those games unplayable.

Thats good enough for me since my original goal was just to mod games, especially Minecraft an Skyrim.

GTA 5 on the next-generations is hard set at 30 fps. As long as there’s no dipping or stuttering, which there wasn’t, I don’t see what the problem is.

The way I describe FPS is: anything over 60, your brain physically can’t detect. Thats, by and large, accurate. Anything from 60-50, you can “feel”, meaning you might have a sense there is some lag but you can’t point at a screen and say “there! It lagged!” Anything 50-40, you can play but you will notice it. The skips, the occasional jumping around. You can see this in his video. Anything under 40, you know. Everyone knows you have lag at those frame rates. Thats when it intrudes on your game play, thats when you “miss” things, and thats why most folks are not happy gamers under 40 FPS.
